We are in March and have just moved our clocks ahead to be in synchrony with the Daylight Savings Time. I always find this time a little awkward, at least for 24 hours. It seems that the body, mind, and energy flow around me have to make the same adjustment that our clocks have to make; only it is not as easy and automatic. It takes me a good 24 hours to get back in synchrony.
I don’t mind it, nor should I, since announcing the Spring and Fall seasons is a way of our life. However, I do find the disruption of the energy flow uncomfortable. Since we are all made of energy and have energy emitting from us at all times, each person’s energy field is disrupted during this adjustment period. If you are mindful of this disruption, you may be able to determine what your body, mind, and spirit need for the interim to get back in tune with the earth, sun, and moon.
It may be as simple as a nap in the middle of the day or a relaxing cup of tea and quiet reflection with journaling for twenty minutes. Some people suggest a meditation followed by a gentle walk in nature. On a brisk day, looking upon nature and drawing it may be the trick. These actions intentionally balance your inner harmony of energy with the universal energy surrounding you. When you synchronize with the Universe and are grounded in nature/the earth, you are balanced and back in line with your energy flow, and you feel normal once again. Then, time clocks and seasons are all in synchrony with you.
It is important to recognize one thing about your energy: It is resilient and can become depleted if surrounded by negativity, harshness, or other people’s energy that does not have good intentions. With this said, our energy is best when we surround ourselves with like-minded people with equal or higher energy fields and who have similar intentions toward the end goals we seek to achieve.
These individuals have an obvious sense and expression of humanity, compassion, and intention to do well. They are grateful for what life has offered them to explore and build upon. They are connected to the earth and Universal energy simultaneously and will provide therapeutic interventions to others who seek support and kindness during their distress.
So, try to use some of these techniques as you adjust to time, clocks, and your sleep /wake cycle. Be grateful for your life and health, and think of compassion when you see others less fortunate than yourself.
Your positive energy will reach another when it is created with good intention.
